WRATH OF KILLIAN sets up an Earthquake Trap on one square of the Combat Grid. An Enemy already standing on this square will suffer 20 points of Initial Damage. He will be unable to cast Spells or use a Crossbow while standing on this square, but he may freely move off it. The Trap will remain until the Combat ends, and anybody remaining on it or stepping onto it will suffer random Damage of 10 - 20 points.

NOTE: The Trap Square is not marked in any way, so make sure you remember which square it is, in order to avoid stepping on it! Characters are not immune to this Damage, although the Spellcasters only suffer Half Damage.

WRATH OF KILLIAN can be most effective, when cast at Enemies which can't move or are unlikely to move. They will take additional Damage in every Round. This applies to Frozen Enemies and Enemies caught in Traps. Some Enemies, for example Rime Giants, tend to stay put if they're well placed for throwing their Rocks at you, and are reluctant to move as long as you don't move.

Example: Cast WRATH OF KILLIAN at a Moredhel Spellcaster caught in a Trap. It will cause 20 points of Initial Damage. The Spellcaster can neither move nor cast Spells, and will suffer 10 - 20 points of Damage with every new Round. You can now rest your Characters and wait for the Enemy to die.

Some Enemies are totally Immune to this Spell, while a few suffer less or more than the normal Initial Damage:
