STRENGTH DRAIN [aka Life Drain] drains away Strength equal to Cost. Half of that strength is transferred to the Caster for the remainder of the combat.

Example: Cast STRENGTH DRAIN at Maximum Cost (20) at a Moredhel Warrior. It will Drain away 20 points of his Strength, and raise the Caster's Strength by 10 points.

NOTE: This spell is needed in order to kill Wind Elementals, who cannot be killed unless you drain away all their Strength. But beware: Elementals regain their maximum Strength at the beginning of each new Round! There are two Elementals in the game with Strength over 20 [which is the maximum number of points drained by the Spell]. In order to kill these, TWO SPELLCASTERS must cast the Spell within one Round.
