FLAMECAST projects a Ball of Fire, causing Damage to the Enemy. It should be noted that the Ball of Fire will be extinguished, if it hits a Trap Pole Current.Example: Cast FLAMECAST at Maximum Cost (20) at a Moredhel Warrior. It will cause 60 points of Damage.
AREA DAMAGE: FLAMECAST causes approximately 20% Area Damage to anybody standing within two squares of the target. If another Character (or Enemy) shields you by standing between you and the target, one point will be subtracted from the Area Damage. If you are a Spellcaster, the Area Damage will be much less, i.e. Shielded Damage x 0.5. The below table shows all possiblities, covering Cost 1 - 20 (Damage 3 - 60):
