EVIL SEEK projects a Ball of Energy, causing Damage to an Enemy. It then moves on to the next Enemy, doing 80% of the Initial Damage; then to the next Enemy, doing 80% of the latest Damage, etc., until all Enemies have been hit.

It is important to know which Enemies are immune to this Spell, and which Enemies suffer Extra Damage. If the Spell is cast at an immune Enemy, it will fizzle out at once. If it is cast at a non-immune Enemy, and subsequently hits an immune Enemy, it will go on causing Damage (although not to the immune Enemy). If it is cast at an Enemy, who suffers Extra Damage, the rest of the Enemies will also receive Extra Damage. The following examples should clarify this:

Example #1: Cast EVIL SEEK at Maximum Cost (30) at a Moredhel Warrior, who is accompanied by 3 other Moredhel Warriors. It will cause 60 points of Damage to the first one, 48 points to the second one, 38 points to the third one, 30 points to the fourth one.

Example #2: Cast EVIL SEEK at Maximum Cost (30) at a Highland Ogre, who is accompanied by 2 Moredhel Warriors. Highland Ogres suffer Double Damage from this Spell, and will be hit by 120 points. The firsr Moredhel to be hit will suffer by 96 points, the second by 76 points. [If you cast at either of the Moredhel, the Damage will be normal in all cases (60-48-38).]

Example #3: Cast EVIL SEEK at Maximum Cost (30) at a Panth Tiandn, who is accompanied by another Panth Tiandn and a Nethermander. Panth Tiandns suffer Damage*1.5 from this Spell, and Nethermanders are immune. The first hit will cause 90 points of Damage. If it then hits the other Panth Tiandn, he will lose 72 points. The Nethermander will be unaffected. If, however, the Nethermander is the Spell's second target, the 72 points of Damage will be neutralized, whereupon the other Panth Tiandn will only suffer 57 points of Damage. [If the Spell is cast at the Nethermander, it fizzles out immediatly.]

Some Enemies are partially or completely immune to the Damage, while others suffer extra Damage. See below table :
